Taco Roulette

Sometimes I work late, and when we work late setting up events our boss orders the staff dinner. The other evening, we ordered from 180 Tacos. I felt like I was in the scene from Hunger Games where Katniss wants to try everything at the victors  feast. I wanted to try ALL the tacos but got way too full. Hence the game Taco Roulette.

How it works.

  • Go to 180 Tacos and order 8 to 10 tacos per 2 people. Try not to order too many duplicate tacos, try one of each menu item if you are daring.
  • If you have a lazy susan- or rotating type of serving plate, put the tacos on the plate and spin to see which taco you eat (which taco is closest to you).
  • If you don't have a lazy susan or similar device- then use a spinner from a board game, or make one. Place the tacos in a circle around the spinner and whatever taco the spinner lands on is yours to eat.

Theme it up!
  • You can create a casino type theme- play poker or blackjack or any card game, and watch Casino Royal, Oceans 11 and the like
  • Make a Latin Theme- go dancing at Salsa Chocolate, make or break a pinata, try to make the guacamole hat from Despicable Me,
  • Variation of the date- you could make the tacos yourself. Research different taco styles and go shopping and spend some quality time together cooking your creations.
